This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of K2 Insurance Services LLC and all the affiliated companies whose websites link to this Privacy Policy (“K2”, “we”, “our”, “us”) and informs you how we collect, use, share, and protect the information we collect from or about you on all K2 entity websites, however accessed (the "Website" or “Service”), our Apps, and web applications. By accessing or using the Service, you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We collect personal and other information about you. Personal information is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked (directly or indirectly) with you (“Personal Information”). How we use your Personal Information

We may use or disclose the Personal Information we collect for one or more of the following “Business Purpose(s):”

To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information, including providing insurance products, maintaining your account, service or make changes to your policy, handle a claim, complete a transaction, respond to customer service requests and other inquiries.
To analyze, improve, develop or deliver our Website, products and services, develop new services or products, and to personalize your experience.
To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations;

We do not market any products or services to children under the age of thirteen or knowingly collect any information from children under the age of thirteen. We do not knowingly sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising the personal information of consumers under the age of sixteen. Our website is not intended for children.

How we share your information

For purposes of this policy “Sell,” “Selling,” “Sale,” or “Sold,” means selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, Personal Information to another business or a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. Companies involved in insurance and other business transactions: We share your Personal Information with other companies that play a role in an insurance transaction with you such as independent claims adjusters, repair shops, and other claims related companies. We may also share your Personal Information to participate in insurance support organizations.
Service providers: Personal Information may be shared with service providers who perform services on our behalf for a business purpose including service providers that:

help complete transactions, handle a claim, service your policy or service your membership,
engage in credit reporting or payment processing,
provide marketing and advertising, email or other communication services,

Cross-context Behavioral Marketing: sharing your information with a third party so that they can use it to display targeted or cross-context behavioral advertisement to you. Cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising means that we display an advertisement to you that is selected based on Personal Information about you that we obtained or inferred over time from your activities across other companies’ websites, applications or online services that we use to predict your preferences or interests. Targeted advertising does not include using your interactions with us or information that you provide to us to select advertisements to show you.
Third parties in connection with a business transaction: Personal Information may be disclosed to third parties in connection with a corporate transaction, such as a merger, sale of any or all of our company assets or shares, reorganization, financing, change of control or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by an affiliate or third party, or in the event of a bankruptcy or similar proceedings.

Privacy rights and choices

Various federal and state laws provide privacy rights to consumers including the right to know, access, delete, or correct Personal Information, the right to opt-out of sharing of Personal Information with affiliates for marketing or the right to opt-out of receiving email marketing. These rights differ by state and also by the type of products and services you have with us. You may request information about our collection, use, disclosure and Sale of your Personal Information over the past twelve (12) months, whether or not it was collected electronically. If you validate information that allows us to reasonably verify your identity (“Verifiable Request”), that you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information. We may request that you submit a signed statement under penalty of perjury that you are the individual you claim to be. Upon receipt of a Verifiable Request, we will disclose:

Request to delete

You also have the right to request that we delete any of your Personal Information that we collect or maintain by submitting a Verifiable Request. We may deny your deletion request if retaining your Personal Information is necessary for us or our service providers to:

Complete the transaction for which we collected your Personal Information, provide goods or services that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you;
Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities;
Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality;
Comply with the laws or regulations in your or our state of residence;
Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us;
Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.

You may submit a Verifiable Request for the information listed above, or exercise any of your rights enumerated under this Notice, by emailing us at privacy@k2ins.com, or calling toll free at (866) 662-5752. You may also submit a Verifiable Request on behalf of your minor child.

After we receive your Verifiable Request, we will provide to you, in writing and free of charge (unless your request is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded), the requested information for the 12-month period preceding your request. You may choose to have this information delivered to you by postal mail, electronically, or through your account. We will try to respond to your verified request within forty-five (45) days of receipt, but if we require more time (up to another forty-five (45) days) we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. Please note that we are not required to comply with your request for information more than twice each year. If applicable, our response will explain the reasons why we cannot comply with your request.

We do not and will not, without first obtaining your consent, Sell Personal Information.

We will not discriminate against you if you choose to exercise any of the rights enumerated under this Notice. Unless authorized by law we will not:

Deny you goods or services;
Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties;
Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services; or
Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

However, please be aware that it may be a functional necessity for our Services to have Personal Information about you in order to operate, and we may not be able to provide some or all of our Services to you if you direct us to delete your Personal Information.
